When your plan year is coming to an end, you'll have the chance to renew your coverage — keeping your current plan or switching to a different one. Here's how it works.
How do I know it's time to renew?
When your renewal window opens, you'll see a renewal card in the Health Benefits section of your OSB Dashboard, and we'll reach out by email to let you know it's time.
How to complete your renewal
Log in to your OSB Dashboard
Go to the Health Benefits section and open your renewal
On the start screen, click Begin Open Enrollment to review your plan options for the new plan year (or click No, I decline coverage if you don't want coverage — see our article on declining coverage)
Review your current plan and any dependents on your coverage — this is also a great time to add or remove dependents
Keep your current plan or compare and select a different one for the new plan year
Review your summary and confirm to complete your renewal
What if I don't complete my renewal?
Renewal is your window to make changes for the upcoming plan year. If you miss it, you'll generally need to wait until the next open enrollment — or a qualifying life event — to make changes, so it's worth taking a few minutes to review even if you plan to keep everything the same.
